Home

This is our parish vision.

  • To discover God’s love, acceptance and forgiveness and direction.

  • To have Jesus Christ at the centre of our lives as Saviour and Lord.

  • To see his kingdom grow through the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • To be Christ’s witnesses in Lisburn and where ever he sends us.

Communication:

To inform and motivate people for service.

Rescue

To save and set people free in Christ.

Outreach

To show God’s care in the world.

Prayer

To seek and know God’s will.
Skills:   To equip God’s people for ministry.

COMMUNICATION:

Acts 2 v 42 - 47

  • To be a welcoming church

  • To share with our members our Vision and Goals for Growth.

  • To be responsive to members concerns.

  • To motivate people to move forward in their service for Jesus.

  • To build up fellowship in our church, by spending time together.

  • To develop relationships with the wider Christian Community

  • To encourage tithing and use it constructively in the Lord's Work.

 RESCUE:

Acts 11 v 21

  • To lead people to the Saviour, by creative evangelism, renewal and openness to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

  • To preach the Good News of Christ.

OUTREACH:

James 2 v 14-18

  •  To demonstrate God’s love through practical care.

  • To activate people for mission both overseas and at home.

  • To be effective tools for God, by meeting the needs of our community.

  • To be witnesses for Christ in our daily lives.

PRAYER:

Ephesians 6 v 18

  • To raise up mighty men, women and children to do great things in God’s power.

  • To discover more of God’s Vision through faithful Prayer.

  • To listen to God.

  • To surround our worship with prayer

  • To dedicate ourselves to prayer for Healing

  • To commit ourselves to prayer for our leaders and one another.

  • To develop personal holiness.

SKILLS:

Romans 12 v 6-13

  • To recognise and use our gifts and abilities.

  • To share practical skills, to mentor and equip others.

  • To enable a new generation to mature in ministry.

  • To be a resourcing church and enable the Kingdom of God to grow.

  • To make what is good in the parish better.
