Bishop-designate George Davidson contacted clergy on Tuesday to say that Sunday services are to be suspended.
This will obviously have a huge impact on how we gather, worship and learn as church.

These have been a challenging few weeks for our nation but we as a Church are thankful and excited that we can still get together to worship and pray in some new ways over the next while!
Check out the plans our staff have been working on and get in touch if you have any questions!
"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
Public worship will not happen in the Cathedral Building. We plan to live stream an act of worship on Sunday mornings at 11am which will be available at www.lisburncathedral.org/live and will also be available later on Youtube and Facebook. Our Facebook and Instagram will be updated regularly and our staff will post thoughts and reflections from the Bible, and worship songs.
Kidzone Friday and Kidzone Sunday will no longer meet in person. Families will receive online resources from Donna via email and Google Classroom, where children can also engage with each other. If you want to make sure you receive these exciting resources for children please send Donna an email email@example.com
Keep an eye out for updates on the Kidzone Facebook page.
Coffee Dock, Mettle and Bible Class will no longer meet in person. Mettle Instagram and Facebook will regularly be updated with pictures, videos and reflections on the Bible so stay tuned! We'll post some Bible study material on Google classroom. There will be small groups set up for Sundays using an app called Zoom. Every group will have 2 leaders. If you'd like to be in a small group, either send us a message on social media or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get permission slips sent out to parents & guardians.
Homegroups will no longer meet in person. We want to encourage all homegroups to stay in touch with each other during this period via calls, emails, texts and Whatapp. Some homegroups will also meet by video calling each fortnight via an app called Zoom. A step by step video to help you get this app set up will be available on our Youtube channel and Facebook.
Our prayer meetings on Wednesday and Friday can no longer happen in person but the good news is we can pray anywhere! We will post prayer points on our social media during the week. Please stay in touch with others and commit to praying for each other on a regular basis. If you have urgent prayer requests please text or email Sam or Danielle. They will also be able to pass these on to the prayer ministry team who will pray too.
