A Night with Treble Clef!
On Monday the 8th of October, Lisburn Cathedral hosted a six piece band called Treble Cleft for a wonderful night of music and laughs.
Between Cathedral parishioners and guests, ninety people came out to enjoy music from the 40s and 50s. The ladies from Treble Cleft shared their own story of going around various places singing for the past 30 years and introduced songs with witty anecdotes. They sang songs from the shows, war time classics and a number of sacred pieces that reflected their own faith in Jesus.
They were keen for the crowd to participate and were delighted by how we did! In fact, many of those gathered threatened to get up and dance, at various points of the night.
A lovely tea was served and was much appreciated, and judging by the cheer at the end of the night, a good time was had by all!
