Coffee Room Manager

Natalie Bond, joined the Cathedral Staff as coffee room manager in December 2017. Natalie moved with her daughter from Stratford Upon Avon to Northern Ireland in May 2017.  After getting settled here, she is looking forward to the future discovering more about life in Northern Ireland and as Manager of the Cathedral Coffee Room. She has been greatly encouraged by the warm welcome everyone has given her. Please stop by and say hello to Natalie and her team of dedicated volunteers in the Coffee Room.   


CIEF Event with guest speaker: Amy Orr-Ewing

Amy Orr-Ewing will be our special guest speaker for the CIEF CELEBRATION 2018 EVENT, being held in Lisburn Cathedral on Friday 27 April, 7.30pm

Amy is a superb Christian speaker and leading Christian Apologist and well worth hearing. The theme for the event is:  'A Passion for His Name.'

Mission trip to Uganda- Summer 2018

With preparation well underway for our youth and young adults mission trip to Uganda during Summer 2018, we have a few things to tell you about.

Confirmation & Baptism Service held in the Cathedral

A Confirmation and Baptism Service was held in the Cathedral on the 3rd Of December 2017. Bishop Alan Abernathy confirmed 17 Candidates: Andrew Burleigh, Beth Cairns, Sarah Crawford, Euan Cummings, Rebekah Cummings, Rebecca Glover, Lydia Kerr, Rachael Martin, Ryan Mcgucken, Sara Mcgucken, Isaac McIlwrath, Andrew McKittrick, Matthew McKittrick, Gemma McLoughlin, Sam Netherton, Daniel Stott, David Thompson. Rev. Danielle McCullagh performed the full immersion Baptisms.

We're Hiring! Coffee Room Manager Post

We are looking for a Manager for the Lisburn Cathedral Coffee Room to develop and implement a strategy in keeping with the vision of the Cathedral. The Manager will oversee the work of a team of volunteers and welcome visitors to the Cathedral. 

Applicants must be supportive of the ethos of the Cathedral.

The hours will be 25 per week, ideally 9.30am to 14.30pm.

This permanent post is subject to a 6 month probationary period and the salary will be £8.50 per hour.
