Thank you for praying. Mark and the Lisburn team made it safely home last month from Burkina Faso. We praise the Lord for 5 wells drilled and for work continuing with another team, led by Matt Durkee.
Thank you for praying for Amy Riddering following the death of her husband Mike in the terrorist attack in Ouagadougou. Following Mike’s funeral in Yako, the town where he lived, Amy travelled to the USA to visit with family and friends. She plans to return to Burkina Faso at the end of February to continue the work she and Mike were doing for the Lord. Mike’s life and work for the Lord, along with Amy’s faith through all of this are a great testimony to many all over the world and God is being glorified in spite of these tragic circumstances. Please continue to pray for Amy and her 4 children as they adjust to life without Mike.
Thank you for praying for the Elliots who were kidnapped in northern Burkina Faso. We praise the Lord that on Saturday 6th February, Jocelyn was released in Niger. On Monday she flew to Burkina Faso. She looks well and says she was treated well. Please continue to pray for the safety and release of her husband, Dr. Ken Elliot.
Please pray for Mark as he returns to Burkina Faso with Tim Wilson 16th February – 12th March. A team from our home church, Monkstown Baptist, will travel out for 2 weeks to help with drilling 20th February – 6th March. Please pray for safety, success in finding water and for God to be glorified through the well drilling.
Love Mark, Louise, Joshua, Rachel and Anna
